Tattoo Removal Equipment

Of all the methods available for tattoo removal, laser therapy is the most efficient and popular. The removal is now performed in lots of clinics, health centers or cosmetic facilities that have the right tattoo removal equipment for the procedure. Besides the tools as such, another condition to be met is the presence of qualified experts to operate the machines. In order to use tattoo removal equipment such as lasers and pulse light machines, one should have both technical and medical training.

Lots of treatment centers have investors or sponsors that help to the purchase of the very expensive tattoo removal equipment. This probably justifies the cost of the intervention too, since tattoo removal by laser can cost up to $1,000 per session. The tattoo removal equipment does not fully justify this huge price, as there are other noteworthy factors involved: the size and the complexity of the tattoo, the pigments used and the skin color. Besides laser, there are other methods available for tattoo removal, but only one is equally efficient: intense pulsed light therapy. Pulsed light treatments are performed in lots of spas, but results are not very much different from those of laser interventions. However, pulsed light seems to cause less pain, and fewer therapy sessions are needed for complete tattoo removal. The costs of the intervention will depend on the number of pulses applied per session. When such treatment approaches are not affordable, people are willing to try simpler, although less efficient remedies.

For example, there are people who try dermabrasion when they want to eliminate some small or rather superficial tattoo that only includes one color. With the help of some special tattoo laser removal equipment, sand is sprayed on the skin, and from the resulting abrasive friction the skin layers are peeled off together with the tattoo pigment. The problem with dermabrasion is the risk of serious skin injury while the efficiency rate is minimum. Therefore, so as to minimize risks and keep costs affordable, you should go through all the stages of professional consultation. In the absence of a suitable intervention, it is not such a burden to live on with an old tattoo!
